Our small but perfectly formed team hand make all of our products. We are driven by a passion to design and create the highest quality ironwork.

Richard Heanley opened Studio Forge in 1974 and has been the driving force behind the business. As an art student Richard began his creative journey. His passion for fine design and sculpture and natural creativity, coupled with an interest in iron as a material, is an ideal combination. When he’s not working at the forge he’s either skiing or tinkering with antique tractors!

Chrissie Heanley joined the Studio Forge team eleven years ago and enjoys a variety of work at the Forge including managing the office, finances, clients and keeping the lads on their toes! Formally a nurse, Chrissie loves travelling and exercising their rescue dog, Cabbage

Colin Mockford joined the team over 10 years ago. Born and bred in East Sussex and with long career in welding Colin’s always creating welding, hammering or forging!
